Predictions for 2008

As most of you know, we are now in the nanosecond! Using the system of measurement of Raymon Grace, a master dowser, the frequency of Mother Earth today has measured a staggering 24,000. In September, the frequency measured 8,000, so we are "moving on up" quite rapidly as the old theme song of The Jefferson's TV show stated! People's lives are moving quickly and the spiritual consciousness on this planet is greatly increasing. Just look at what Oprah's doing nowadays.

In stating the predictions for this year, I am drawing from many sources including my own inner guidance and knowledge. When using other sources, I will make references to them.

First, I would like to start by talking about numerology. Last year, the year 2007 was a "9" year, a year of completion. This year, however, the energy is quite different. It's a "1" year (2008 = 2 + 8 = 10 = 1 + 0 = 1) A "1" year is wonderful! It's a time for many NEW beginnings. New ways of thinking, being and acting. It's a great time to begin anew in any area of your life.

In Chinese Astrology, it is the year of the Rat which is the first animal sign and has similar energy to the sign of Aries, the first sign of the zodiac in Western Astrology. So, the year of the Rat has a similar frequency to the number "1" in numerology. The sign of Aries is known for leadership, creative new ideas, charting a new course (being a pioneer of sorts) and, generally, initiating new ways of being.

This is the year of the Earth Rat with the element of earth being a major influence of the year (this is an earth and fire year....see below). The earth element emphasizes practicality, groundedness, organization, and dependability. (see astrological information below).

In terms of The Michael Material, a system of knowledge that is channeled from the Causal Plane, there are strong yearly influences every year that have to do with how the year unfolds. According to Jose and Lena Stevens, this year's influences are as follows:

This is a KING year. The role of King is about mastery, discipline, accomplishment, and concentrating on what you want. King energy is very strong and powerful energy. It's hard energy to contain. Most people don't know how to handle this type of energy, so it's important to pull back and regroup occasionally. King energy is widely focused rather than narrowly focused energy.

The casting for the year is the role of PRIEST which is also a widely focused role and a most influential role at that. Kings like to delegate responsibility and Priests feel responsible for people's well being. The combination of King/Priest is a very rare combination for any person let alone the major influence for the year. This is a very challenging combination.....it's like driving an 18 wheeler instead of a Honda Civic.

The goal for the year is GROWTH. This means one's nose is always to the grindstone, one is always moving and feels the need to get things done. It's about challenging oneself. Because of the intensity of these energies, it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to find time to take short breaks and to reevaluate what and where you're going. If you don't take time out, on occasion, you will find yourself withdrawing and possibly going into a catatonic state. So, a weekend once or twice a month would be a good balance.

The mode for the year (how we accomplish our goal) is POWER! This combination of King/Priest, Growth and Power is like driving a V-8 engine. It's impactful, to say the least. The Power mode is about authority, one's authority, or another way of saying it is being self-empowered. If you find that you are overwhelmed, then it is a good idea to check things out and to "look before you leap".

The attitude for the year is SPIRITUALIST, looking at what COULD BE in other words, possibilities, becoming a visionary of what you would like your future to be. The chief feature or obstacle for the year is SELF-DESTRUCTION. The obstacle is designed to make life on earth interesting.

The chief feature is the ONE THING we can neutralize or do away with. Once we know what it is, we can be careful to notice our behaviors and/or thoughts that might be leaning in that direction and we can thereby stop it. This chief feature is not an easy one; the times in which we live are not easy either. Self-destruction is like living in the fast lane. So it is imperative that we notice the parts of ourselves that might be destructive, that is addictive or using poor judgment, not finding meaning in one's life, and so forth. It is important to recognize when we are in that place so that we can pull ourselves out and become empowered instead. Because of this obstacle, there could be an increase in suicides.

The secondary obstacle is STUBBORNNESS or not wanting to change. Stubbornness is the fear of change. It's important NOT to hold onto old patterns or structures in our lives. Holding on can lead to passive/ aggressive behaviors.

The centering is the INSTINCTIVE CENTER. It's very rare to have a year where this is the primary centering. The centering is how we respond to events (intellectually, emotionally, moving are the primary responses). The instinctive center controls the autonomic bodily functions and processes like breathing. When sleeping, our instinctive center takes over the functions of the body. The way to use this centering correctly for this year is to step back and trust the process of life, to rely on your gut level, on your inner guidance. It's an excellent time to develop one's intuitive abilities to an even higher level. It's about letting go and surrendering. "Business as usual" needs to be suspended; things need to be processed on very deep levels. The bottom line is to totally rely on one's instincts. It's the opportunity to say "I don't know what to do, please guide me" that one might say in the form of a prayer or in talking with one's Spirit Guides and Teachers. If you're feeling you need to do such and such but don't know why, just do it anyway. That IS YOUR ANSWER from your inner guidance.

The instinctive center is guided by the subconscious which is to say that our EGO or ESSENCE guides us. Those allowing their ego to guide them are in false personality; those who let essence guide them are in true personality.

It's a very good time to say prayers, affirmations, set your intentions, and to meditate. All of these are powerful ways to connect to your subconscious. By listening to your answers and following them, you are in true personality rather than false personality controlled by your ego.

The needs for the year are SECURITY, ADVENTURE and COMMUNION. Communion is about connecting with others to form communities or to take action as a community in some form.

The elements for the year are EARTH and FIRE. Earth and fire are predominantly associated with volcanoes and earthquakes.

The major themes of the year are AUTHORITY and LEADERSHIP. With authority it brings up power issues on the personal level......what is it in my life that needs changing, what is it I need, what are my talents and am I utilizing them, am I living in the right place?

External authority will be questioned as well as one's own authority. Issues will arise around leadership in the world. Be careful not to get stuck in stubbornness. Look for groups and communities to take a stand. Ask yourself, "Is this what I want?" If not, let go and move forward in a positive manner for yourself. Live by example....quality, integrity, and mastery.

With the planet Pluto, now in Capricorn, which happened on January 26th (see my astrological comments to follow this), the impact will be on organizations of all kinds, the government, the retail industry, the financial institutions, the educational system and so forth. Changes within our normal structures and what we thought were secure (our job continuing for as long as we want, our retirement being there, those type of things).

The key words associated with these major and great changes are LOSS, CHANGE and ADJUSTMENT. With big change, there is always a need to let go (loss) and a period of adjustment after any type of loss. What is very, very important, should this occur in your life or those of your loved ones, is to remember to LOOK AT WHAT COULD BE (the spiritualist attitude) and ask HOW COULD WE MOVE INTO BEING EMPOWERED through all of this. Do NOT slide into stubbornness!

There will be a major exodus from this planet by people who no longer wish to be here; many of them will help us from the "other side" or spirit realm. With this exodus, balance will be restored to our mother earth.

It's an important time to join forces with others to get things done in a positive way (communion), to create a community of like-minded people to create positive changes.

It's a time to RETURN TO BASICS, to ask oneself WHAT ARE MY VALUES, WHAT IS IT THAT I REALLY BELIEVE IN, and WHAT DO I REALLY WANT?

The King role is a masculine role which is like Merlin the wizard! It's a time of GREAT PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION and the POWER OF MAGIC! So, this year is really a most powerful year, a year to realize one's potential, to get out of ego and false personality, to let go of belief systems and previous imprinting that no longer serves you. It's a SUN rather than a lunar year, so it's time to SHINE FORTH like the sun!

In the area of relationships, there will be power struggles over the positioning of authority. Relationships that have inequality within them will most likely self-destruct. The relationships that will work are those that match each other on many levels.

As mentioned above, this is an excellent year to study various spiritual disciplines and teachings; a good time to expand spiritual practices.

There will be many discoveries by science that will literally rewrite history and astronomy.....many old theories will fall by the wayside.

Weather will continue to be unpredictable and ever changing. The earth is actually in the process of a slow polar shift at about 50 miles each year and is moving toward Russia, as the Michael group has channeled.

It's definitely a time to take more responsibility for our health and focusing on preventative medicine and healthy eating choices. Remember that the body is nothing more than a projection of the mind and all diseases are curable with a change of attitude and beliefs.

Astrological Influences

The following comments are predominantly made by me with additional comments by George Ward from THE PLEIADIAN TIMES.

Astrologically, I wish to begin with the word WOW and more WOW! On January 26th, the planet Pluto moved from the sign of Sagittarius to Capricorn where it will be for 16 years until 2024! It will return to Sagittarius one more time from June 14 to November 11 of this year. So, you might be asking, "How does that affect me personally?"

Since Pluto's move into Capricorn in January, the people most affected by this transit (the exact location in the sky of any planet) throughout this year are those people born from December 19-23rd as Pluto goes from 01 degrees of Capricorn back to 28 degrees of Sagittarius. Those of you born during the above dates will have Pluto going back and forth over your Sun sign.

In addition, you will need to see if you have any planets in your chart that are at 29 degrees of Sag. through 01 degrees of Capricorn. If so, Pluto will be crossing over those planets as well. You will have to look closely at your chart to assess whether you are being affected or not (please do NOT write and ask me to comment on your chart unless you wish to schedule an appointment).

It depends upon where the planet Pluto is transiting in your chart..... whether it's going over any planets and what house it's going through to determine what areas of your life are effected.

Now, let's talk about what a Pluto transit means. Pluto has to do with PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION which seems to be a major theme this year. Pluto has to do with power and control issues with others, transformation of self, sometimes meaning the death of a loved one, and personal empower- ment. It is the most powerful planet in a chart. Wherever it is at birth is most important as well as wherever it is transiting in one's birth chart in the present moment.

Now, what does this mean for our planet as a whole? Well, Pluto in Sag. (1995-2008) began to undermine, reveal and transform many of the old beliefs and philosophical agreements that have enslaved human consciousness for a very long time. Much truth came to the surface. Pluto in Capricorn (structures) will break down and transform the authorities and institutions that have held a vested interest in controlling humanity with old paradigms. During the phase of Pluto in Capricorn, a grand restructuring and re- distribution of wealth and power on the planet is inevitable.

The last time Pluto was in Capricorn was from 1762 - 1778. At that time the powerful, extravagant monarchies of Europe were struggling and in great turmoil, while clandestine secret society agents were the architects of plans supporting revolution in the American colonies. Pluto in Capricorn contributed to the decay of power in the royal courts of the time and emboldened the colonists to stand up to their perceived oppressors, while plans within plans were being orchestrated for the future of America.

In the U. S. astrological chart, the aspects are similar to the time of the Civil War.

Capricorn is an earth sign that symbolized the structure and customs of the time. The nature of an enduring structure is that it appears to change very slowly. Capricorn refers more to our deeper perceptions of time, rather than what we have been taught to believe about the past. Pluto in Capricorn will unlock the secrets of the game of time and how to master- fully play it during "phase three of the nanosecond" and beyond.

Now in 2008, as Pluto goes into Capricorn, more and more people are aware that our corrupt, bankrupt governments are propped up, manipulated and controlled by huge corporations. With Pluto in Capricorn, the abuses of power directed at people and the planet by these corporations will become increasingly transparent. As corporations fund politicians to enact more laws to secure and protect their own interests, the real question becomes: who in actuality controls the corporations?

Pluto rules the underworld, or the hidden realms, and with Pluto in Capricorn, the unseen forces are once again developing plans to reorganize the power structures of the planet. Whether these covert players are underground, off-planet or interdimensional time-jumpers, they are all here to play the game of authority.

The key is to keep your psychic radar tuned up to stay aware of the clues and symbols that are intended to draw you into their version of the game or throw you off track from the real scoop. The lesson of Pluto in Capricorn is for all of us to mature as humans by collaborating with each other to design our own game, make our own rules, and then implement our own exquisite plans within plans. The game of giving and receiving love, rejuvenating our utmost creative capacities and restoring the pristine health of our bodies, our spirits and nature, is the ultimate game of all.

On September 2nd of last year, the planet Saturn went into the sign of Virgo. Saturn is the ruler of the sign of Capricorn and has to do with structures, karma, changes, endings and new beginnings. On December 19th, the planet Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, expansion, abundance, went into the sign of Capricorn as well. So, three heavenly bodies are presently in earth signs (Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn are the earth signs), thereby emphasizing the qualities of earth as stated above.

The good news is that Saturn is in VERY GOOD aspect to Jupiter & Pluto, Virgo being trine to Capricorn. For those of you with planets in earth signs, this should assist you in making decisions and choices in the flow.

The 9th Hopi Prophecy

As a closing note, you might be interested to know that the 9th Hopi prophecy has occurred. The prophecy states that there will be two Suns on our planet and one of them will be blue. Apparently, there is the discovery of a recent comet that is unlike any other. The energy field around it gives off a blue aura. I'm not exactly sure what the comet is called, I think it's referred to as Planet X.

There is one more Hopi Prophecy left. So, there is much to think about. We certainly do live in interesting times. To think we carefully chose to experience earth at this time. I still maintain that the only reason I'm here is that I saw a sign that said CHOCOLATE, THIS WAY!
